| Black Agenda
LISTSERV CyberColony postings are available in four (4)
Subscription
Formats: Regular, Digest, Index and
Web:
|
-
LISTSERV
Regular Subscription Format
Individual e-mail messages are sent
to you, "On-The-Fly," as they are posted to the forum.
This is the DEFAULT subscription setting.
-
LISTSERV
Daily Digest Format Daily
postings are available in a DIGEST
format [one e-mail message per day]. You will receive all the individual postings,
for the day, in one (1) e-mail message. You can then simply scan the table of contents and decide if there
is anything there of interest to you. If there is, you can check it out. If not . .
. delete the digest. You are informed and you have one less e-mail message.
If you wish to receive the
digested version of a Black Agenda CyberColony LISTSERV daily
postings, just issue the command syntax: SET
"LISTSERV NAME" DIGEST.
Note: You must FIRST be subscribed in the REGULAR subscription
format [see subscription information, above], before
you "SET "LISTSERV NAME" DIGEST".
Example:
TO: LISTSERV@Listserv.ICORS.Org
SUBJECT: [leave blank]
------------- Message Text --------------
SET "LISTSERV
NAME"
DIGEST
[Exclude the quotation marks]
-
LISTSERV
Daily Index Format Black Agenda
CyberColonies LISTSERVs are available in an INDEX
format.
The daily INDEX provides a few
lines of information for each posting; such as subject, date and
time, and the number of lines (file size). The actual
message text is not included. You, then, may select just the
message you are interested in, and order them from the LISTSERV server.
If you wish to receive the indexed
version of the Black Agenda CyberColonies LISTSERV
daily postings, just issue the
command syntax: SET
"LISTSERV NAME" INDEX.
Note: You must FIRST be subscribed in the REGULAR subscription
format [see subscription information, above], before you "SET LISTSERV
NAME INDEX".
Example:
TO: LISTSERV@Listserv.ICORS.Org
SUBJECT: [leave blank]
------------- Message Text
--------------
SET
"LISTSERV NAME" INDEX
[Exclude the quotation marks]
-
LISTSERV
Web Format
As a special
service for our subscribers, ALL e-mail postings are accessible at
each of the Black Agenda CyberColony Archives
[listed above], on the World Wide
Web.

|
| The Black Agenda
CyberColony LISTSERV NOMAIL subscription option: |
|
Use the NOMAIL
command if you are going to be away from your computer and you do not want
to come back to 500 pieces of e-mail for any given Black Agenda
CyberColonies LISTSERV. This is a great command if you only want to
access the forum archives and do not want to receive postings. Simply SUBSCRIBE [as indicated,
above] and then SET
your user subscription option to: NOMAIL. Then,
you
may follow
the standard procedure for accessing the Black Agenda CyberColonies,
on the World Wide Web, via the LISTSERV Web
Format, as explained above.
The "NOMAIL"
option will TEMPORARILY STOP the Black Agenda
CyberColonies LISTSERV
postings from being delivered to your e-mail address until YOU
start them again.
You may postpone your mail as often as you
like.
The NOMAIL
command syntax is:
SET "LISTSERV
NAME"
NOMAIL
Example:
TO: LISTSERV@Listserv.ICORS.Org
SUBJECT:
------------- Message Text --------------
SET "LISTSERV
NAME"
NOMAIL
When
you are ready to start receiving Black Agenda
CyberColony LISTSERV
mail, again, then issue
one of the following commands:
SET "LISTSERV
NAME" MAIL
or
SET "LISTSERV
NAME" DIGEST or
SET "LISTSERV
NAME" INDEX
Example:
TO: LISTSERV@Listserv.ICORS.Org
SUBJECT:
------------- Message Text --------------
SET "LISTSERV
NAME" MAIL
