The Solutions for Resolving Conflicts in Black Male and Black Female
Relationships [BMBFR] panel will openly, honestly and critically examine the various and
complex set of systems, institutions, beliefs and behaviors that restrict
and/or facilitate healthy and productive Black male and Black female
relationships.
While the purpose of this panel is to clarify the complexity of
relationships for Black males and Black females from the onset of
dating
to the golden years; pride of place will be given to strategies for
resolving conflicts in Black Male and Female Relationships. The
permanent
benefit of developing such strategies is a foundation of healthy Black
males and Black females relationships thereby enhancing the overall
quality of Black family life.
This panel will critically examine the questions, complains and
concerns
voiced by both Black males and Black females about each other, in
combination to discussing strategies for building healthier Black
males-females relationships.
This panel is designed to facilitate a shared learning experience,
rather
than Black females only speaking to each other about Black males, and
Black males only speaking to each other about Black females and their
interactions.
Please note that this panel does not operate on the ideas that Black
males
and Black females are enemies or have problems that are
insurmountable.
There are many positive and wonderful connections and/or associations
to
be explored and/or enhanced.
